Now I KNOW you have an opinion to share on this.

In Las Vegas, I like the Rio  and Wynn to play Craps at and to stay at.

The Rio is All Suite of course and no bad rooms, great food (Buzio's!) and fun dealers. A nice mix of players.

The Wynn is just the nicest room I ever stayed in, great staff, great food Red 8 and real nice Craps tables. Crowds can be a little light and you wil see guys buy in for $10K or $20K often. Real good Craps dealers.

What is your own experiences good or bad?

I've only been a Craps player to LV once; last year.  I live on the East Coast, so Atlantic City is my escape.  A Harrah's member, I choose to play at the Bally's properties of the Wild, Wild West, or Bally's (proper.)  However, my last visit to AC (April 28-29) I noticed Caesar's Palace added another 6 Craps tables; unfortunately, they are/quickly at a $25 minimum and too rich for me.  So, I prefer Bally's and the dealers are usually very friendly, to include a Pit Boss, Bennie.

Any other AC players out there?

I've never played craps and I've never been to a casino.

I booked a trip to Vegas for my wife's birthday in August and I wanted to learn craps, so that's how I found this game. This game (yours) and the game itself is a lot of fun, so I'm really excited to go out and see how I fair. We're staying at the Belagio so I figured I'd play there. My dad always plays at the Paris hotel.

I was at the Bellagio. I thought it was really nice and it was $10 the whole weekend. They may have $5 during the week, but I don't know about that. Overall the folks working the tables were very nice and it seemed most of the folks playing were pretty cool. After watching a table for a bit, there were a couple I didn't join just because I wasn't getting a good vibe from the folks playing. But some you couldn't join 'cause they were sooo full!

Mike

*edit - I'll be at the Paris in LV with my dad at the end of Jan, beginning of Feb 08, if anyone's going to be around then. Details to follow...

Nice report, Mike.

I tend to like a crowded table as long as no one is smoking. Lots of controversy in LV about the smoking ban in places that serve food.

I am sure the dollar amounts you report are the Pass Line minimum. A $10 line bet is real typical, $15 makes no sense to me, and $25 as the norm at lots of places is OK by me as thats what I will bet anyway.  A $10 table is good for most everybody, you can always bet more.

Hooters Casino has a Craps table that has $2 Pass Line, but only the one table (?).

I was at the Bellagio. I thought it was really nice and it was $10 the whole weekend. They may have $5 during the week, but I don't know about that.
