Ok so i tried the hit it and quit it...

OK so im not a big spender and tend to be cautious when playing cause im not a "baller" so

On thurday i was reading Alans post from a few months back about his palms vist. And his hit it and quit it

So i tried it out on my mycraps game did decent and could guess wheen the 7 would rolled i made about 2k  in the game so i was sure i got the basic of it

So i headed down to Lake Charles Lauberge Casino and went straight to the atm and made a $200 withdraw.

Went to a $15 table and the current shoot was on a roll so i waited till he crapped out.
Let the next shooter get a point i wanna say it was 10.

So i go 15,18,18,15 (5,6,8,9) and BAM shooter rolled 7... i was like my luck.

So i pass the next shooter up  and my turn to roll i put my money on the pass line hit a 7 get paid. get a number i think it was 5. so i went 4,6,8,9 .. then BAMMMMMMMM 7 out.. i was pissed at this point.

SO i let it go a few times then my luck turned aorund i was catching a few breaks  with just 6,8 being played to where i was able to cover back on the 5,9  i kept pressing the winnings ( which i didnt knwo unless you tell them an amount they put all your winnings on the point you won on.

Ok so i go about 6 shooters with I would go about every 2-3 rolls win and Call "off" let it roll till shooter crapped enev if he hit his point.  A few times i got saved cause i think i had over $100 on 8 and 36 or somethign on the 6 and 5,9 had been pressed a few times already. so i made some but then my buddy comes up and asked me a question  and instead of calling off like i was about to i let it ride to answer his questin and BANGG 7 out.. After that i coudlnt catch a break it was point then 7 p;oint then 7 almost in perfect seqeunce.

SO over all I lost $240 which i had on hand from being from around $500 winning

But seing as i just got back from iraq this week the Pit boss gave me and my buddy a free $50 comp, and free room for the night :-)

Im gonna try it again. but is there away  to keep the dealer guy kinda friendly about the whole Off/on ordeal i kinda felt like they were getting mad at me.  after they would 7 out and i was "OFF"  they jsut started pulling me down period. so i had to keep putting the chips back out.  I guess cause alot of the times i hadstacks when none of the big spenders around me had anythign and kept losing it all.

Hey Army, thanks for your post on this.

While the session I recorded live (uneditted) for the "Hit It and Quit It" demo was real , it was also showing favorable conditions. Sometimes you get lots of "early" or quick Sevens and that kills a Place bettor.

Now if your narrative below is correct, you should have taken down your place bets AFTER the Fourth Roll. That the rule in  "Hit It and Quit It". You showed 4 rolls in both examples. Its not perfect, but  "Hit It and Quit It" will avoid a lot of Seven Outs. You do need either good shooting or longer rolls for that to work best.

yeah i was hitting it in sequence LOL.. figured i would hit 5 or 6 again but 7 popped up. It wasnt really a good night. last weekend i actually had a great roll i made about 900 off me and about 600 from an older gentleman.

But i could hear the pit boss on the table about a shooter at the other end not rolling hard enough ( he was the one that was on the streak and was killing the house he was full of black chips ($100)
